Orexo pursues an active brand and patent strategy that permits the company to protect its inventions and products on all significant markets. At present, Orexo has several hundred patents that have been granted or are pending. These patents cover drug delivery platforms, pharmaceutical substances, new indications, and product combinations. Established collaboration is maintained with internationally renowned patent agents regarding patent applications and the maintenance and protection of patents and brands.
