Anders Lundström (born 1962).
President and CEO.
Mr Lundström joined Orexo in February 2011. He has more than 20 years experience from the Pharmaceutical Industry and has worked the last five years in the US.
Mr Lundström has extensive commercial experience from Biogen Idec, AstraZeneca, Janssen-Cilag and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has held numerous leadership positions, most recently as Head of Biogen Idec Hemophilia Inc. He holds a M.Sc. Pharm from Uppsala University.

Carl-Johan Blomberg (born 1952).
SVP and CFO
Joined the company in 2011.
Carl-Johan Blomberg has many years extensive experience in Finance from various industries, such as engineering, electronics and pharmaceuticals. Most recently he held the position of CFO at Micronic Mydata, and has earlier held Financial Director positions within Alfa Laval, Procordia and Pharmacia & Upjohn.
Carl-Johan Blomberg is Board Director of Pfizer Pension trust Sweden, Swedish Space Corporation and Alfa-Laval Pension trust.

Peter Edman (born 1954),
Chief Scientific Officer
PhD and Associate Professor title in Biochemistry. Joined Orexo in 2012.
Long experience from all phases of drug development and extensive scientific background. Chief Scientific Officer/Head of Research and Development at Sobi (Swedish Orphan Biovitrum) 2008-2011. Earlier various positions within research and development at Pharmacia, Astra och AstraZeneca and Director at the Swedish Medical Product Agency. Professor in Pharmaceutical Formulation and Adjunct Professor in drug delivery at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Uppsala University.

Thomas Lundqvist (born 1951).
Executive Vice President & Head of Pharmaceutical Research & Development.
M.Sc. Pharm. Mr. Lundqvist is one of Orexo´s founders. He was director of the Company between 1995 and 2003 and its President between 1997 and 2002 and between December 2003 and April 2004. Mr Lundqvist has a long experience working with the development of new pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Orexo, he held the position of President of NeoPharma Production AB. In addition, Mr. Lundqvist has more than ten years of experience working at the Swedish Medical Products Agency.

Åsa Holmgren (born 1965),

M.Sc. Pharm, Employed in 2008.
Broad background from several major pharmaceutical companies with more than 20 years experience in drug development and mainly international, strategic assignments within Regulatory Affairs. Served most recently as Senior Global Regulatory Affairs Director at AstraZeneca. Extensive experience from interactions with authorities in Europe, USA and Japan.

Nikolaj Sørensen (born 1972).
Chief Commercial Officer
Master of Science in Business and Economics. Joined the company in 2011.
Nikolaj Sørensen has extensive international commercial experience of the pharmaceutical industry and has previously worked at Pfizer where he was i.a. Director and Brand Team Leader for Pfizer’s leading pain treatment product in Europe and Canada. At Pfizer, Nikolaj also worked as Head of Business Development and Director of Strategic Planning, acted as Business Area Director for primary care products, and as Managing Director and Chairman of the board for Pfizer AB. Prior to working at Pfizer, Nikolaj was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focusing on life science and among other he was the Project Leader for the merger of Pfizer and Pharmacia in the Nordic region. In addition, Nikolaj has been a member of the Board of the Swedish Pharmaceutical Industry Association (LIF) for the past few years.

Marie Zachrisson (born 1963).
Director of Human Resourches
HR Specialist. Joined Orexo in 2011.
Marie Zachrisson has more than 20 years extensive HR experience from many different industries, such as Ericsson AB and OMX. During her 13 years in the Ericsson Group, she held HR positions within research, technology development, market, production development functions in the cell phone system area. Most recently Marie worked at Inera AB, active within the national IT strategy for health care.
